Brian was born in Rochester New York, and shortly moved to sunny Sarasota Florida where he lived most of his years as a young adult until college. He soon went to Florida State University to continue his education in health and wellness. He recieved a degree in 2007 in Exercise Science with an emphasis in physiology. To continue his career in health and wellness he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida campus in 2011. While attending there he expanded his knowledge in the natural healing process while taking a special interest in sports rehabilitation. With the knowledge and skills he learned in school, he now owns BAAR Chiropractic in San Diego, California. All techniques and treatment protocols here are evidence based with an active approach to health and well being.

Roberta was born and raised in Brazil. She was a certified physical therapist specializing in Orthopedics with an emphasis in Manual Therapy, as well as Lymphatic drainage therapy for over 14 years. In 2011, She moved to San Diego, where she continued her therapeutic studies. In 2014, she received her certification in massage therapy. Since then, Roberta has been working in a variety of different health settings: In spas where she specialized in relaxation massages, hot stones, aromatherapy, and also, post plastic surgery and aesthetic massages; Corporate massage, where she utilized deep tissue, Swedish massage, and chair massages; Retirement homes, providing geriatric massages and body work; and a Chiropractic office providing therapeutic massages, Sports massages, Lymphatic drainage, and pre/post-natal massage, as well as exercise and stretch education.

Emily is originally from Jacksonville, Florida but moved to San Diego in 2016 to pursue her education in Eastern medicine. She is a board certified and licensed acupuncturist in the state of California and holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) as well as a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Health and Science. While working as an assistant to sports medicine acupuncturists throughout her graduate studies, Emily discovered a passion for orthopedics and pain management. She specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, mental-emotional health, sleep disorders, and pain relief, and also has clinical experience treating digestive disorders, post-operative care, women’s health, respiratory issues, and cosmetics. She uses modalities such as guasha, infrared light therapy, cupping, electrostimulation therapy, herbal medicine, and lifestyle and nutrition coaching. Emily believes in an empathetic, holistic and integrative approach to healing; treating the patient as a whole while implementing Chinese medicine and other evidence-based practices to create positive and sustainable health outcomes for her patients.
